2016 Prayer

Theme for 2016 is prayer. Impacting our world doesn’t come from our strength but from the power of the almighty God working through us. God works through His people when we pray. Prayer is like breathing. When we don’t pray, we are as though spiritually deceased. Ministry without prayer is mere human effort and God cannot be honored. Great people of the Bible were prayer giants and Jesus modeled prayer better than anyone. He prayed early in the morning, late in the night, prayer before major events, and prayed in the utmost desperation with tears and laments. May our prayer continue until we enter the glory. I pray that everyone at Hana will be prayer warriors instrumental in transforming the world. Let us begin all things with prayer and finish everything with prayer. Prayer ought to be the foundation of abundant life in Christ as we pursue fulfilling the Great Commission. Let us pray together without ceasing. Pastor Joshua Park

2015 Impact

Our theme for 2015 is “Impact.” If last year’s “Body Building” strengthened Hana community, we now need to apply ourselves to impact our world. Jesus said that we are the salt and the light. Salt cannot lose its saltiness nor the light remain covered. If we stay weak and immature, we will be useless to impact others. Let us take our eyes off of ourselves and seek to benefit others with the love of God. When we seek first His kingdom and righteousness, we will be able to impact the world. Let us set our hearts on obeying the Lord through the Word of God. As we do, we will be quite impactful in 2015. Pastor Joshua Park

2014 Bodybuilding

[NIV] Ephesians 4:11-16 11 It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12 to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. 14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
